Contract Update

On July 24 we had our first mediation session with William Conley (PERB’s Director of Conciliation) as our mediator. The mediator’s role is to attempt to get the parties to each make compromises to determine whether an agreement can be reached.  A second session has been scheduled for August 13, 2024. The negotiation team is aggressively advocating to get a fair deal. We will keep you posted as this process continues.
