It’s that time of year when PBA members once again receive the Uniformed Members Hazardous Duty Pay that was negotiated as part of the 2007 – 2011 Collective Bargaining Agreement and more than doubled as a result of the 2011-2018 CBA between the Troopers PBA and the State. As per the contract Section 10.8(B) “Such Uniformed Members Hazardous Duty pay shall be paid on an annual basis during the pay period that includes December first for those members who were on the payroll on November first of such year….” This payment will be in the December 2, 2015 paycheck.

The old standard of a $1,200.00 Hazardous Duty payment will now be increased by an additional $1,250.00 for a total of $2,450 just in time for the holidays every year going forward.
