Today the New York State Senate honored Trooper David Brinkerhoff, who was killed in the line of duty on April 25 during a search for a suspect in Delaware County. The Senate adopted a resolution honoring the life and sacrifice of Trooper Brinkerhoff.

At the ceremony at the Capitol today, members of the Brinkerhoff family were present, as were several State Police members, and PBA President Daniel M. De Federicis.

The PBA is grateful that the members of the Senate took the time to pay tribute to a brave Trooper who made the ultimate sacrifice.
