The New York State Troopers PBA is mourning the loss of one of our own, Trooper Jill E. Mattice, who was killed in an on-duty car crash today. Trooper Mattice, 31, was a six-year veteran of the New York State Police and was assigned as a School Resource Officer.

We send our thoughts and prayers to Trooper Mattice’s family, friends and fellow Troopers.

Funeral arrangements are pending and will be posted when they are finalized.
