New York State Troopers and law enforcement officers continue to search for Ralph “Bucky” Phillips, the man suspected of shooting Trooper Sean M. Brown in the early morning hours of June 10. The search has shifted away from Broome County and is continuing across the state.
Trooper Brown, who was shot in the abdomen, is recovering at home from his wounds.
There is a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Phillips. Of that amount, $10,000 was initially offered by the New York City-based COP SHOT; the State Troopers PBA added $10,000 to that reward; and the Albany-based law firm of Gleason, Dunn, Walsh & O’Shea, which works with the PBA, offered another $5,000.
Phillips’s photographs and profile are featured on the web site of the television show “America’s Most Wanted.” That information can be found by clicking on this link: www.amw.com .
Anyone with information on Phillips is asked to call their local State Police station.
