The thoughts and prayers of the entire NYSTPBA membership go out to the family, friends and former coworkers of retired Inv. Patrick J. Hogan, 61, who passed away on April 13, 2023 from an illness as a result of his response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He became a member of the State Police on January 8, 1996 and retired on May 30, 2018 from Troop H, CNET Capital. His death will be considered a line-of-duty death. A wake will be held on April 19 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 475 Pawling Avenue, Troy; a funeral service will be held on April 20 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 475 Pawling Avenue, Troy; interment will be on April 20 at 1:30 p.m. at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
