The thoughts and prayers of the entire NYSTPBA membership go out to the family, friends and former coworkers of retired Sr. Inv. Nicholas A. Georgeadis, 52, who passed away on April 28, 2023 from an illness as a result of his response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He became a member of the State Police on April 30, 1997 and retired on November 28, 2018. His passing will be considered a line-of-duty death. Calling hours will be held from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 4 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave., Saratoga Springs; a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 5 at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 440 Whitehall Road, Albany.
