The family of Trooper David Cunniff, who was killed in the line of duty in December 2013, continues the mission he and his wife, Amy, started to raise funds to find a cure for SMA, which their son, Caleb, has. The Cunniffs also founded the Greater New York Capital Region Chapter of Cure SMA.

The 5K Walk ‘n Roll begins at 9 a.m. Saturday with registration followed by the 5K and shorter Walk-n-Roll at the Colonie Mohawk River Park, located at 71 Schermerhorn Road in Cohoes.
