New York State Trooper killed in the line of duty

The State Troopers PBA is mourning the loss of one of its members, Trooper Jeff Edelson, who was stationed at SP Liberty in Troop F. Trooper Edelson was killed in a one-vehicle crash as he was responding to a call on the afternoon of Sunday, Nov. 23. Trooper Edelson was a six-year member of the New York State Police.

Funeral arrangements for Trooper Edelson are not finalized but will likely be held on Tuesday or Wednesday on Long Island. When the services are scheduled, the PBA will post the information on this site.
