A Rochester-area television news station, WHEC-10, interviewed the parents of Trooper Andrew J. Sperr, who was killed in the line of duty on March 1. In the interview, Andrew and Jean Sperr talked about their son as a child, how much he loved his career as a New York State Trooper, and how their family is coping with the tragic loss.

The television station features a video clip of the interview on their web site, which can be seen by scrolling to the middle of the page and looking at the section called “At Your Desk,” which shows the title of the interview next to a picture of a camera.
