A funeral service was held for Trooper David C. Brinkerhoff on May 2, 2007 and was attended by thousands of law enforcement officers from across the state and the country. It was a fitting tribute to a hero who was killed in the line of duty on April 25, 2007.
Following the funeral at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, the PBA hosted a luncheon reception at the Elm Avenue Park in the town of Bethlehem, as well as a small reception for the family of Trooper Brinkerhoff and his fellow Troopers from Troop F in the Coxsackie area following his burial.
The PBA would like to thank everyone who attended the funeral and sent condolences. It is heartwarming to know that so many people cared during this tragic time.
