Governor Cuomo’s appointment of George P. Beach II as the next New York State Police Superintendent is an excellent choice from the list of highly-qualified candidates. Beach was a 33-year veteran of the State Police, most recently serving as a well-respected Assistant Deputy Superintendent.
“The PBA has enjoyed a positive working relationship with Beach throughout the years, and we look forward to continuing that momentum with him as the Superintendent,” said New York State Troopers PBA President Thomas H. Mungeer.
